About Us
The Diner is a casual dining experience with a twist
The Diner Vancouver opened its doors in 2019 with a bold idea: Reimagine the neighborhood diner as a place that serves great food and greater good.
We’re more than a brunch spot — we’re a social enterprise proudly operated by Meals on Wheels People, a nonprofit that delivers meals and connection to thousands of older adults in the Portland metro area and southwest Washington.
When you dine here, your meal directly supports that mission. Every omelet, Reuben, and slice of pie helps fund programs that fight hunger and social isolation for older adults across our region.
A Place for Everyone at the Table
Older adults 60 years of age or older who participate in Meals on Wheels People programs are always welcome at The Diner Vancouver — and they can enjoy their meals here and pay what they can afford through our Diners Club program.
It’s about accessibility, respect, and offering flexible, community-centered options that reflect the dignity everyone deserves.
Whether you’re dining with friends, family, or solo, everyone is welcome here.
